Omer is CEO and co-founder of Omega Point. Previously, Omer served as SVP, Research at Two Sigma Investments. In this role, he founded and built Two Sigma's global equity research analyst survey platform ("TAP"). He was responsible for research/modeling, product development, and relationship management. He also managed Two Sigma's quantitative risk arbitrage system, developed models, and conducted classic fundamental Risk Arb research. Omer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Eran is CTO and co-founder of Omega Point. Previously, Eran led product development for Oracle’s Social Relationship Management platform. Eran came to Oracle via its acquisition of Involver, where he was an early employee and Vice President of Engineering. Prior to Involver, Eran spent several years as a founder and a software engineer in a variety of small and medium-sized startups. Eran holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Science and Economics from UC Berkeley.
Adam Krause is the Head of Sales at Omega Point. Previously, Adam spent over 15 years at BNP Paribas, where he was responsible for originating prime brokerage and hedging solutions to Institutional asset managers. Adam’s responsibilities included developing and maintaining relationships with key hedge fund/asset manager stakeholders to help cross-sell bank products - including derivatives, credit, FX, Commodities, and Rates. Earlier in his career, Adam served as Front Office Risk Manager for BNP, following its acquisition of the Prime Brokerage group at Bank of America, where Adam served on the sales team in New York and London. Adam graduated from the University of Colorado - Boulder with a BA in Political Science, and in his spare time, he can be found on his skis in Vermont or spending time with his family.
Adam is a Senior Customer Success Manager at Omega Point, responsible for helping Customers maximize utility and drive key insights through Omega Point’s platform. Adam has spent over 7 years helping Clients build and implement solutions through Financial Technology, serving as a Consultant at Eze Software before transitioning to a Senior CSM position at Visible Alpha. Adam received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Connecticut College and is a CFA charterholder.
Alex heads Strategy and is a Chief of Staff Advisor at Omega Point. He is a serial entrepreneur, having co-founded and led four startups, including FarSight Financial Services, the first Internet brokerage (acquired by Merrill Lynch), and Gomez, Inc, the leading Internet Performance Management company (acquired by Compuware). Most recently, Alex was a Managing Director at Two Sigma, where he built the firm's global Alpha Capture program, which applies quantitative research to identify and extract investment signals in real time from a worldwide network of investment professionals. Alex also led the firm's evaluation of systematic real-estate investing, co-led the Client Solutions platform Venn, and explored emerging technologies, including blockchain and distributed ledger systems. Earlier in his career, he worked at Digital Equipment's VLSI facility in the Advanced Development group. Alex received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (1991) and his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Dartmouth College.
Ali Galgano is a Sales Director at Omega Point. Before Omega Point, Ali was a Vice President at BNP Paribas on the Prime Brokerage Sales Team, where she was responsible for the origination and growth of Prime Brokerage, Swaps, Cash Management, and Tri-Party financing relationships with hedge funds and asset managers. Earlier, Ali worked for Barclays on the Corporate Banking Origination Team and also served in a Business Management Role, helping build out the Corporate Banking operation in the US. Ali started her career at PwC in the Banking and Capital Markets Assurance group. Ali holds a BA dual degree in Finance and Accounting from Villanova University's honors program. A nationally ranked collegiate golfer, Ali enjoys traveling to golf destinations in the US and internationally - her favorite course is Pebble Beach. She is also an avid music fan and spends time in Nashville, TN, whenever possible.
Alyx Flournoy is an Investment Strategist at Omega Point. Previously, Alyx served as Director of Risk Strategy in FactSet’s Risk & Quantitative Analytics Group where her responsibilities included defining the product roadmap for risk management solutions. Earlier roles at FactSet included serving as a Quantitative Analytics Specialist where she focused on quantitative research, portfolio construction, and multi-asset class risk management for pension funds, hedge funds, institutional asset managers and private wealth firms. Alyx graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a dual Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics. She is a CFA charterholder.
Austin manages Omega Point's Platform Team. He has two decades of experience leading software development and operational engineering teams at early-stage and Fortune 500 companies. Before Omega Point, Austin led the Site Reliability Engineering team at Apcera, which specialized in container management solutions. Before Apcera, Austin led the operational engineering team supporting Oracle's market-leading IaaS (Infrastructure as a service) and PaaS (Platform as a service) product offerings. Austin holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.
Bill is the HR Manager for Omega Point. Throughout his career, Bill has managed every aspect of Human Resources for public and private companies to help them improve performance through their people. Bill holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from Rutgers University. When Bill and his wife aren't in their hometown of Stamford, CT, you can usually find them traveling in far-off places.
Bobby Aves is a Site Reliability Engineer at Omega Point. He’s a passionate software developer focusing on cloud infrastructure and operations. Over the past 15+ years, he has built innovative software solutions for companies spanning diverse industries, including IoT, online food delivery, and Fintech. Bobby is based in Ontario, where he enjoys spending his free time on baseball diamonds and rooting for his Toronto Blue Jays.
Chris is a Product Manager at Omega Point. Before joining Omega Point, Chris spent over 11 years at Axioma (subs. Qontigo) in several senior positions, including Support, Sales, Consultancy, and most recently, as Director of Product Management. In this role, he worked closely with all members of the Axioma team, including Product, Research, Content, Sales, and Support. Chris holds an M.S. in Financial Engineering (MSFE), a joint degree offered by the Institute of Mathematical Sciences at Claremont Graduate University and the Drucker School of Management. He received his B.S. in General Engineering, with a concentration in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Physics, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. In addition, Chris is an avid outdoor enthusiast, including hiking, surfing, camping, and exploring new environments.
David is a Product Solutions Associate at Omega Point. Before joining Omega Point, David served as an Equity Capital Markets Analyst at BofA Securities, focusing on the origination of Convertible Bonds. Compelled to financial services through a lifelong fascination for math & economics, David holds a dual B.S. in Computational Mathematics and Economics from Penn State's Schreyer Honors College. Bilingual in Spanish and English, David loves playing guitar, composing music, exploring his world through long walks, and dribbling soccer balls around hapless opponents - his favorite team is AC Milan.
Dennis is the Lead Platform Engineer at Omega Point. Dennis has honed his DevOps chops across diverse computer languages and environments over the past two decades. He's particularly interested in solving unique problems in the areas of security, development, monitoring, testing, and deployment. Dennis holds a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Louisiana State University. Based in Austin, Dennis enjoys spending time with his family, listening to Pinkerton-era Weezer, and sampling fine whiskies.
Eddie is Full-Stack Engineer at Omega Point. Eddie has over two decades of experience as a software engineer for market-leading and start-up firms in financial services, IT Services, E-commerce, and other industries. Before Omega Point, Eddie worked as Director of Platform Engineering at RBC Ventures. Eddie lives in Toronto near the lake and enjoys backcountry camping, long-distance running (preferably in the summer!), and rooting for the Blue Jays.
Edgar is a Product Manager at Omega Point, focusing on Information Architecture and Data Visualization. Edgar was among Omega Point's first hires, joining as Lead Product Designer thanks partly to a serendipitous chat with the CTO following a group exercise class. Since then, Edgar has honed deep product & industry knowledge and functional versatility through an addiction to learning and extensive time in the 'trenches' as Omega Point as its customers grew, and its products evolved. Before Omega Point, Edgar was a design consultant on several global projects for large and small firms. He holds an MS in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan School of Information and a BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Guillaume is a data engineer at Omega Point. He comes from the world of physics as a master’s candidate at Université Laval, where he fortifies his python and C++ programming skills to focus on modeling and spectroscopy of Erbium-doped ZBLAN fiber lasers! Guillaume lives in Chicago and loves to play piano, hike the great outdoors and attend cool concerts.
Hugo Lamarre is a quantitative researcher and engineer at Omega Point. Before joining Omega Point, Hugo spent ten years in the asset-management industry, specializing in designing and productionalizing various quantitative methods for systematic investment. Most of the solutions he delivered still support large-scale investment processes. Hugo holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Montreal in Mathematical Physics and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from HEC Montreal in Financial Engineering. He has also earned the chartered financial analysis (CFA) designation. In addition, Hugo is a popular lecturer at HEC Montreal, where he teaches a portfolio management class to Master’s students.
Jay is a QA Engineer at Omega Point, the perfect role to exercise his lifelong affinity for breaking things and finding ways to fix them. Before Omega Point, Jay designed, built, and managed technology solutions for educational institutions, where he honed his development chops. Jay holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.A in Higher Education from Boston College. When he’s not smashing & repairing, Jay prefers a more peaceful pace by spending time near his home in Western New York with his wife and daughters, indulging the kids in whatever catches their fancy in any given week.
Based in Quebec City, Jean-Baptiste loves beautifully crafted code, singing (badly) during meetings and reminding everyone that the Cowboys are doing pretty well this year.
Jeremy is the Chief Customer Manager at Omega Point. Previously, Jeremy had led Customer Success, Customer Discovery, and Product Innovation teams at several firms across diverse industries, including radiation oncology, legal analytics; governance, risk, and compliance; autonomous vehicles; battery management; and parking enforcement. He is an avid collector of first memories and pop-up books. His other interests include incomplete thoughts and
Jonathan helps Omega Point manage its Finance & Operations efforts. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Boston College and a master’s degree in finance from Northeastern University.
Jonathan is a Software Engineer at Omega Point. Jonathan has over a decade of experience writing bullet-proof code and leading software development teams. Before Omega Point, Jonathan was a software engineer and team leader who helped usher several Canadian insurance companies and regulatory agencies into the modern age. Jonathan remains unapologetic about his coffee addiction and enthusiasm for his backyard BBQ Smoker. And cars, preferably fast ones, he can borrow from friends.
Kevin Wahlberg is a Product Specialist at Omega Point. Kevin previously worked as a Multi-Asset Class Risk Specialist at FactSet, selling risk models and solutions to asset owners, hedge funds, institutional asset managers, insurance companies, and wealth firms. In his prior role with FactSet, Kevin worked as an Analytics consultant, collaborating with a wide array of clients to build, streamline, and enhance quantitative research, risk, and performance workflows. Kevin graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
Landon is Full-Stack Developer for Omega Point. He is a self-taught engineer who focuses on a diverse set of web & data technologies. Landon has an ambitious appetite for learning and has experience with many modern languages (Typescript, Python, Golang, Rust..). He enjoys working on open-source software as well as playing guitar and pickleball.
Lauren loves people and creating spaces for individuals to feel seen, heard, and appreciated! As Omega Point's Workplace Manager, Lauren lives her passion by shaping environments that enrich collaboration and support the extraordinary people on its growing, remote-first team. Before Omega Point, Lauren founded and led Bottom Line Yoga, a Chicago-based innovator in the corporate wellness space. When the pandemic derailed the ability to commune and drove workplaces online, Lauren recognized a more permanent shift in 'modern offices' for which her talents and passions were a perfect match. After a stint in venture capital operations management, Lauren and Omega Point found each other; the rest is history.
Lila is a Software Developer at Omega Point. She has worked at leading financial institutions and fintech firms, developing trading systems for forex, equities, and commodities. Lila holds an M.S. degree from Indiana State University and a B.A. degree from Rutgers University, both in Mathematics. Based in NYC, when she's not coding, Lila loves to play music, hike, bake sweet treats, and read.
Marc is a Data Solutions Engineer for Omega Point. Marc has over 20 years of experience trading equities, options, futures and currencies. Marc started his career as a floor trader for Susquehanna. Before joining Omega Point, Marc worked on the trading desk of Quantlab, managing risk for their non-equity trading strategies. Marc received his B.S and M.A. in Mathematics from Binghamton University.
Mike helps spearhead Omega Point’s marketing efforts. Previously, Mike served as Chief Marketing Officer and in other executive roles at several pioneering financial firms, including Lime Brokerage, OpenBondX, and RealTick - a market-leading EMS and Lehman Brothers subsidiary spun out to Barclays Capital. Earlier, Mike co-founded Hottrend, a popular trade signaling platform sold to RealTick. In addition, Mike spent several years with KPMG and Deloitte in the Czech Republic, helping his birth country transition to a free-market economy. Mike holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mike lives in sunny Miami Beach, not the ideal locale to pursue his love of skiing, but he has discovered the joys of kayaking to help fill the gap.
Patrick is a System Analyst at Omega Point. For over 15 years, Patrick has built an uncommonly rounded skill set as a system analyst, programmer, and developer across financial and other industries. Patrick's journey began as an analyst and programmer at the Quebec Ministry of Education. A world explorer and amateur Muay Thai fighter, in Patrick's own words: "I'm not your typical developer, but I'm highly adaptable, a quick study, a natural at coding, and always looking for new challenges."
Rachel is a Customer Success Manager at Omega Point. Before joining Omega Point, Rachel was a Senior Strategic Consultant at FactSet, where she was responsible for growing and deepening relationships with key Asset Owner clients across the Midwest. With experience leading and facilitating projects in risk, performance, and quantitative research - she strives to be a true partner and trusted resource for her Omega Point clients. Rachel received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Professional Sales from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
Reshma Rajagopalan is a Product Specialist at Omega Point. Reshma previously worked as a Multi-Asset Class Risk Specialist at FactSet, selling quantitative risk models and portfolio construction tools to asset owners, institutional asset managers, and wealth firms. In her prior role at FactSet, Reshma worked as a Senior Consultant, collaborating with large Asset Owners across the Midwest to build, streamline, and enhance portfolio monitoring, risk, and performance workflows. Reshma graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a dual minor in Statistics and Finance. She is a CFA charterholder.
Richard helps run Finance at Omega Point. Previously, Richard has been CFO of several SaaS-based software companies, including BioCatch (Israeli cybersecurity), Dexi (data gathering), and SafeGuard Privacy (data privacy compliance). Before working with software companies, Richard spent over a decade with online adtech and media companies like Complex Media and ContextWeb. Richard started his career at Arthur Andersen in London, where he became a Chartered Accountant, and at McKinsey & Company, where he consulted Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Sheldon holds an M.A. from Oxford University and an M.B.A from Columbia Business School. Richard recently moved to Boulder, Colorado, where he enjoys the outdoors, hiking in the mountains with his wife.
Steve is the Head of Revenue Operations at Omega Point. His responsibilities include maintaining the alignment of Sales, Customer Success, and Finance across the entire customer journey to drive growth through revenue and operational efficiency. Previously Steve was an Executive Director in Enfusion’s Account Management group, where his Team was responsible for expanding existing accounts. Earlier, Steve held various buy-side and sell-side positions, beginning his career with Northern Trust in Chicago. Steve holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Marist College and MBA from DePaul University. When not on the road, Steve treasures spending time with his wife and three children but is known to occasionally take a time-out at one of the many local craft breweries in his area.
Sébastien is a Full-Stack Developer at Omega Point. Sébastien has over two decades of experience as a developer, programmer, and team leader at both market-leading and emerging firms in enterprise software, web applications, e-commerce, and other industries. Before Omega Point, he led a team of software developers on multiple projects at Vooban, a provider of AI, data, and IoT-based business applications. Earlier, Sebastien spent several years at ADP as a Lead Applications Developer. Based in Quebec City, Sébastien is passionate about cinema, loves playing hockey, and is a lifelong fan of the Nordiques; he's still in blissful denial that they were renamed the Avalanche and moved to Denver 25 years ago.
After three successful exits over the past decade, Frank Days is currently advising fast-growing technology companies, helping them realize the full potential of marketing. Frank was previously SVP of Marketing at EDB, supporting its growth from $25 to over $100 million in 4 years. His formal education includes an MBA from the MIT-Sloan School of Management and a BA from Bowdoin College. In his spare time, he co-hosts the Marketing Agility Podcast, where he talks with marketers about innovative management models like Agile, Lean, and Kanban.
Mark is a senior advisor to Omega Point. He is currently Head of Affiliated at AIG First Principles, a global investment firm. He is a member of the founding partnership that built First Principles Capital Management’s (FPCM) asset management business and subsequently sold to AIG in 2015. Mark has served in trading, investment management, business development, marketing, and product development roles. He previously headed the North American Fixed Income derivatives business at Nomura and was a member of the management committee of fixed income. He has spoken at a number of public engagements and has been quoted numerous times in the financial press. Previously held positions as President and Board member of the Strategic Forum, a business think-tank located in New York City and South Florida, Vice-Chairman of State of Israel bonds, former board member of David N. Deutsch & Co. and Beyond Bond Inc., an online fixed income trading and risk management platform.
Michael is a Senior Advisor to Omega Point in the areas of business development and compliance. He is a member of the Board of Directors of CBOE and had previously served as a Board Member of Bats Global Markets from 2009 to its merger with CBOE. Michael also is an Advisor to Estee, an India based asset manager and broker-dealer. Prior to Omega Point, he was CFO and EVP of Lime Brokerage. He holds a Masters degree from the MIT Sloan School and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Roland is a marketer and entrepreneur focused on helping startups, and divisions within enterprises, drive growth. He currently serves as the CMO at Product School, as Co-Founder of Therahive, and as an advisor to startups. He’s been a long-time proponent of applying agile development practices to marketing and published a book on the topic entitled The Agile Marketer: Turning Customer Experience Into Your Competitive Advantage (Wiley 2016). He can regularly be found hiking and biking in the hills of Mill Valley with his wife and two boys.
